What eight winter days in Hokkaido actually look like

Sam and Victor drove Hokkaido for eight days in winter and filmed the trip. It shows the roads, the snow and how early it gets dark better than any description we could write.

Highlights

  • Camping from the day you landBedding, cookware and a heater are already in the van, so you can leave New Chitose with nothing to bring.
  • Hotel and car in oneNo hotel hunting every night, so couples or two friends can take it slow. Some guests rent for more than 30 days.
  • Sleep warm near the slopesIn winter, stay close to Niseko, Rusutsu or the snow festivals instead of driving back to a hotel each night.
